This event is for 9th-12th grade PLA students and their families. Students younger than 9th grade are not permitted to attend.
Join us for an exciting 3-night, 4-day educational field trip to Boston and Philadelphia! Students will explore key moments in American history as they walk the Freedom Trail, visit historic landmarks like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, and dive into interactive experiences at museums and cultural sites. This immersive journey brings classroom lessons to life, offering a hands-on look at the birth of our nation while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for our country’s past. ***Please keep in mind that student drop off at the airport will be very early in the morning, 5am (or earlier), and student pick up will be late in the evening, 9:30pm (or later). While airline tickets cannot be booked until after sign ups close, the drop off airport will be in the Los Angeles area, most likely LAX.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.

Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
