(PLA) Knott’s Berry Farm: Early California and Old West Tour (2nd-5th grades)

This event is for 2nd-5th grade PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. If you have another student participating in a different tour and have already purchased an adult ticket for that tour, you will still need to purchase a separate adult ticket for this event, as tickets are specific to each tour.
Let our Ghost Town transport your students back in time as they explore what life was like for the early residents of California and the Old West. While showcasing the diverse people who made up our communities, this tour will give students the opportunity to meet a variety of individuals, such as Nancy Kelsey and a Fur Trapper; as well as learn how these different groups of people contributed to the creation of California and other western states. Students will be led by a personal tour guide on a 2-hour tour, followed by a fun time in the park.

Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
