This event is for 4th-8th grade PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

WORLD OF MOTION - For 4th-8th grade students:
World of Motion ignites imagination with a 3-hour Field Trip consisting of a 30-minute lab and 2 hours and 30 minutes of exploration time.
In addition to exploring Discovery Cube’s unique STEM exhibits, young scientists will jump into the wonderful world of motion! Get your creative gears turning as you design, build, and fine-tune a model speed machine, each a unique marvel of engineering. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! It’s time to put your creations to the test on our epic race tracks. Feel the adrenaline as the cars zip down the track, propelled by the incredible forces of momentum, potential and kinetic energy, and the ever-present pull of gravity.
Student Ticket: $18
Sibling Ticket (Age 3 and above): $18
Adult Ticket: $20
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
ALL WAITLISTS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AT 8 AM ON SEPTEMBER 3RD.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
