(PLA) Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm: In-Depth Animal Expedition

This event is for PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for PLA grades TK-12th. Children under 2 years old are free and do not require a ticket.
Get ready for a hands-on day of animal fun at Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm! You'll encounter all kinds of animals from barnyard animals to zebras! The day will begin with a guided tour led by animal keepers, followed by a chance to help feed the animals. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic together on the farm before the afternoon fun begins. After lunch, students will enjoy a reptile presentation, a bird presentation, a horse training workshop, and an organic garden workshop. This exciting field trip is packed with animal encounters, outdoor exploration, and unforgettable learning for the whole family.

Adult Ticket: $18
Children under 2 years old are free and do not require a ticket.
ALL WAITLISTS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT 8AM ON JANUARY 21.
Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent.
