In Sewing Softies, students will bring their imaginations to life—one stitch at a time! In this fun and skill-building class, students will design and sew their very own soft critters, magical monsters, and made-up animals. They’ll learn basic hand-sewing techniques like a running stitch, how to safely thread needles and knot thread, and how to stuff and finish their softies for display or play. With felt, buttons, embroidery floss, and loads of creativity, each student will go home with a growing collection of handmade, huggable creatures that are uniquely theirs.
