In this exciting and skill-building Math Marvels class, young mathematicians will dive into first grade math through hands-on, minds-on learning. Students will strengthen their number sense and place value understanding, master addition and subtraction strategies, explore measurement, time, and data, and investigate 2D and 3D shapes. Through interactive activities such as number talks, math games, story problems, logic problems, and visual models, students will be encouraged to think critically and explain their reasoning, all while having fun in the process. This dynamic class fosters mathematical confidence, flexible thinking, and a genuine love of learning. (This will be a progressive class through all 4 quarters).
