In-Person: Clay Creations: Hand Building and Working on the Wheel (6th-8th Grade) (Quarter 3)

In “Clay Creations: Hand Building and Working on The Wheel,” students will dive into the exciting world of pottery! This class introduces the basics of hand building, where students will craft a unique clay project while learning essential pottery techniques. They’ll also explore pottery terms and studio safety, ensuring a fun and safe creative experience. The highlight of the class is working on the potter’s wheel at the location of “Redlands Pottery Project,” where students will learn to create and take home fired pieces. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class offers a creative adventure into the art of clay!

NOTE: This class include 3 meeting days: February 28th at 12:00pm-2:00pm (Zoom) and March 7th & March 28th from 8:30am-10:30am (at the Redlands Pottery Project); IMPORTANT: This is a drop off class experience.
