Part of a year-long plein air painting series, this course invites students to explore a variety of subjects and landscapes through outdoor painting. Each session includes three 1.5-hour Zoom workshops focused on materials, technique, and inspiration. Students are encouraged to practice in their own backyards or nearby outdoor spaces, building confidence in painting from life.

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the beach as you learn to paint waves and beachscapes in acrylics. Discover underpainting techniques for depth, plus layering and blending colors to capture shoreline movement. Prepare with three skill-building Zoom classes emphasizing plein air practice, studying masters, and essential acrylic methods. Then spend three peaceful hours painting the vibrant coastal scene outdoors.
