Part of a year-long plein air painting series, this course invites students to explore a variety of subjects and landscapes through outdoor painting. Each session includes three 1.5-hour Zoom workshops focused on materials, technique, and inspiration. Students are encouraged to practice in their own backyards or nearby outdoor spaces, building confidence in painting from life. Each series culminates in an in-person painting experience at a stunning location. This in-person session will be held in Long Beach. Capture the elegance of sailboats in watercolor while mastering techniques to depict shimmering water and reflections. Add pen-and-ink details to bring depth and texture to your artwork.
