Creating Worlds: 180 Days Graphic Novel Class

In this class, students will explore the exciting world of graphic novels by learning how to combine art and storytelling. They will create their own characters, design panels, and write engaging dialogue to bring their stories to life. Through fun activities, students will discover how images and words work together to tell powerful stories. The class encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression while building important reading and writing skills. Students will also read examples of popular graphic novels to understand different styles and techniques. By the end of the course, each student will have crafted their very own short graphic novel. This class is perfect for 5th to 8th graders who love drawing, storytelling, and adventure!

(Bonus: It you enroll for the full year, we will include the curriculum at no extra cost of Instructional Funds! This class is designed for middle school students but also open to 5th grade students working at above grade level.)
