In Mrs. Ortiz’s engaging 1-hour, 8-week class, “AI Magic: Techy Adventures for Kids,” students will dive into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence while reinforcing their English Language Arts skills and unleashing their creativity through art. Each week, students will collaborate on fun, imaginative prompts, such as creating a “dinosaur in a spaceship,” to generate unique AI art projects, fostering their narrative and descriptive writing abilities. Learning targets include mastering the use of nouns, verbs, and adjectives in creative writing and developing the ability to construct detailed narratives and informative texts. Mrs. Ortiz will guide students through interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and exciting presentations, ensuring they build confidence in both their ELA skills and their understanding of AI. By the end of the course, students will have created a portfolio of AI-generated art, enhanced their language arts proficiency, and explored the limitless possibilities of technology.
