President’s Volunteer Service Award
For the fourth year in a row, Sage Oak is excited to be partnering with the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). We are proud to be a certifying organization with PVSA which provides the opportunity to honor our students that have made great efforts to embrace Sage Oak’s core value of service.

SAVVAS Curriculum Update
Dear Sage Oak Families,
We want to take a moment to address the difficulties some of you have faced with accessing recommended curricula through SAVVAS, specifically the Realize digital delivery of enVision Math, myWorld Social Studies, and elevate Science. While we spent extensive time researching the quality and standards-based components of the curricula, we were unaware of the delivery complications we would face within our model.  We were reassured by this provider that there would not be any issues with digital delivery when we chose to promote this curriculum. Due to changes on the provider's end that do not allow our families access to the curriculum, we have decided to remove SAVVAS as a recommended curriculum and as a provider. We have attempted to work with them up to this point to try and access their curriculum and even order their materials through an alternate provider (Rainbow Resource), but our efforts have been unsuccessful. We deeply apologize for the great inconvenience this has caused. If you decide to select a different curriculum, your teacher will work with you to find a replacement.

School Supply List Update

We were notified that Staples is now requiring a minimum order of $35, before tax and shipping, for all orders through our basic school supply menu.  Since many of the orders that were placed this year were under $35, we are making the following updates to ordering school supplies:

  • Families can still use funds to order from Staples using the school supply menu as long as the amount is over $35 before tax and shipping.
  • Families can now send their teachers a purchase order wish list to use funds to order basic school supplies from any of our other Educational Material Resource Providers (EMPRs).
  • It is important to remember that basic school supply items must still be selected. The Basic School Supply Menu is a great guide as to what is considered basic.
