Native American Day
In the State of California, Native American Day is observed on the fourth Friday in September.

This year, Native American Day will take place on Friday, September 24th.

Sage Oak Virtual Academy Courses

Dear Families,
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we got our virtual academy courses, our learning platforms (Clever), and new student emails up and running.

We experienced unforeseen technological difficulties and staffing changes which contributed to the delay. We are excited to announce that everything is currently up and running! If for any reason you are continuing to experience any issues, please reach out to your teacher and we will work to resolve them immediately.

Strive for 45!

Did you know that using i-Ready for 45 minutes or more per week in each subject is great practice and can be beneficial?

A majority of our students saw growth last year by using the online lessons as recommended!

Counseling Corner

Counseling Groups by Carlos Santiago

The start of Mr. Carlos’s counseling groups are slowly approaching. He will be offering groups on College and Career Exploration, How to Finance College/University, and Self Management: Life Ready Skills.

If you are interested in participating in any of these groups, please fill out the corresponding interest form. You can find all the interest forms and a description for each of the three groups offered by clicking here.

Social Emotional Learning Classes

Our SEL classes have already begun. However, it is still not too late to join! Our first unit is on Self Awareness & Self Regulation and will last through the end of October. So if you are interested in joining, please fill out the interest form at your earliest convenience.

SAT Information (High School)

Who needs to take the SATs? Are universities still accepting the SATs? What about private universities? Should I take it? How will it benefit me? Who can I speak to about gathering more information? Check out this informative presentation on the SATs.

Coffee with Counselor

Your school counselors want to meet you! Join us for Coffee with the Counselor to get to know us, Carlos and Allie, your Sage Oak School Counselors. We will be providing updates on our program, such as the role we will play at Sage Oak this upcoming school year, the lesson content we will be providing students, and how you can reach us if you ever have any questions. Sage Stage
Introducing… the Sage Stage! Join us for our new live, engaging, synchronous, fun virtual guest speaker series taking place every Friday at 9:00am beginning Friday, October 8th. This Sage Stage will host guest speakers including authors, scientists, experts, and entertainers.

All Sage Oak students are welcome to attend. Sage Stage events will be aligned to standards and key objectives. A calendar of topics and details on student registration will be shared soon!
