The Million Dollar Project (3rd-5th Grade) (Quarter 1)

Ready to become a millionaire? The Million Dollar Project is a project-based learning activity that challenges students to think about their financial future. In this scenario, students will be placed in the role of their future selves, with a kid their age, and inherit a million dollars. Through this project, students will engage in problem-solving and decision-making, as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of managing such a large sum of money. They can investigate the stock market, buy new cars and houses, invest, donate to charity, and much more. Along the way, students will learn important financial literacy skills, such as budgeting, investing, and saving. By the end of the project, students will have a deeper understanding of personal finance and a roadmap for achieving financial freedom!
