Innovation Lab is an exciting and hands-on class that brings together the power of creativity and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. Learners will embark on a journey of exploration and innovation, discovering the endless possibilities of creating through STEAM. They will unleash their imagination and problem-solving skills as they design unique creations using various materials and tools. Through STEAM-based challenges and experiments, students will gain a deeper understanding of the principles that govern the world around them. Innovation Lab nurtures a growth mindset, encouraging students to think outside the box, embrace failure as a learning opportunity, and persist in finding innovative solutions. They will develop resilience, adaptability, and critical thinking skills as they navigate through open-ended projects and tackle real-world challenges. (Quarters 1 and 2 will focus on Robotics and students will need to sign up for both quarters to participate in this class. A robotics kit will be included for students who sign up for both quarters. Shipping costs will be taken out of IFs. Also, students must meet one of these prerequisites in order to enroll in the class: 1.) iReady is at or above grade level OR 2.) Teacher Recommendation)
