There are so many benefits to writing poetry, we could go on and on, but one of the most inspirational is self-awareness. Being able to articulate our thoughts and feelings in a reflective way is constructive and good for the brain! This poetry workbook is structured for all ages and has many different types of poetry to explore!

    Are you ready for another logic challenge? You start by placing numbers in the outer corners, then subtract until you get to the inner circles. Do you recognize patterns? Can you get to the middle without a difference of zero? This puzzle is great for all math levels---you can use whole or negative numbers, fractions, and money! Good luck!

    We know that the Scientific Method is all about trial and error. Well, the International Spy Museum has provided not one, but eight formulas for invisible ink! Try to determine which formula works best for secret spy messages, then accept the elusive egg challenge---dun-dun-dun! The museum admits they’ve never gotten it to work---will you be the successful scientist who does?

    This week in 1775, the US Postal System was established, with Benjamin Franklin as its first postmaster general! The postal service covers its expenses through the sale of postage stamps and delivers mail rain or shine. Use this template to design your own postage stamp---don’t forget to include cost and special illustrations that represent your personality and symbols of your community.

    Social-Emotional Wellness
    As adults, the notion that one positive thought in the morning can change the trajectory of our day may seem impractical, but we have the gift of seeing life now through the lens of our children. We get to renew this notion of joy, light, and positivity through their eyes together.
