Counseling Classes Social-Emotional Learning: Our SEL class will focus on decision-making skills. Problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential life-long skills that must be developed.

This class teaches students how to think about problems, including how to make good choices and accept responsibility for their own choice and consequences. Teaching children how to make good decisions will help them manage peer pressure and make choices that will help them be successful in school and life. Students in grades TK-8 can click here to register. Executive Functioning: Does your child need some help finish off the year strong? In this class, we will talk about planning, staying organized, and how we can help students manage their time, set goals, and reflect on their learning. Students in grades 3-8 can click here to register.
Counseling Groups: 6-week commitment and small group format Family Separation: Managing My Homes: Our family separation counseling group will connect students with other students to understand they are not alone and that divorce and separation is not their fault. They will identify the feelings associated with the family change, process these feelings, and practice coping skills. We will touch on divorce-related topics, like grief, changes in traditions, the differences between two homes, and more! Students in grades 2-8 can click here to register. Career Exploration: Our career exploration group will help students identify their strengths, personalities, and interests. Then, they will learn how taking that information can help guide them in their careers in the future. We will explore the career clusters and the requirements to get into all different professions. Branch Out Summer Bridge Program K-7th Sage Oak’s Branch Out summer program is a free, self-guided, online program that consists of daily pre-recorded video lessons designed to prevent summer learning loss. Click here for the flyer.

Students going into grades K-7th grade will watch short introductory video lessons, play online learning games, and complete workbook pages that review the concepts of the previous grade level and prepare them for the next grade level. The Summer Bridge workbook can be purchased from Carson Dellosa for the grade that the student will be entering next year.
The middle school math program consists of short video lessons reviewing pre-algebra and algebra concepts with accompanying practice worksheets. No curriculum is needed for the middle school program.

For VLA, please complete this request form, and the VLA will purchase and ship the workbooks to students. |

Dear Sage Oak Staff and Families,
As we approach Spring break, we understand the importance of taking measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. To assist with this effort, we are pleased to offer free COVID-19 antigen tests for students and staff. These tests will be mailed directly to your homes.
To request a test, please use the link provided below by April 3rd, 2023. The tests are expected to arrive no later than April 13, 2023. We recommend that you use the tests before returning to regular school activities.
In addition, please remember to submit your test results to the state by following the directions provided with the QR code listed on the box. |
