Tahquitz Canyon: Jr. Ranger Program Hike

Free
This event is for PLA Sage Oak students and families. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us in celebrating Native American Heritage month this November with the Indian Canyons Junior Ranger Program. This program allows school groups to visit the Canyons and learn about the history and culture of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians as well as the beautiful desert landscape in Palm Springs, California. Junior Rangers have fun exploring the Canyons on guided tours with a Tribal Ranger. Once the Jr. Ranger Program has ended, you are free to enjoy the beauty of the canyons at your own convenience.
Suggested Grade Levels: 4th-8th
Hikes are between 45 minutes to 75 minutes in duration. Attendees should be able to hike on their own. Hike is not stroller accessible.
