Giving Children Hope: Volunteer Opportunity

This event is for Sage Oak PLA students and their families, 7 years-old and up. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Come serve our local community by volunteering in the “We’ve Got Your Back” program. We will be packing backpacks with nutritious food for families in need. Giving Children Hope delivers backpacks packed with love by volunteers each week to designated school sites. Each child in the program receives enough food for three to four family members throughout the weekend and sometimes throughout the week. This program has provided food and nutrition education for children and families in need for almost two decades. This sustainable food source ensures that children always receive the nutrition they need. Please see the Giving Children Hope website for more information.
This field trip is free for all participants. Participants must be at least seven years old. Please claim a ticket to reserve your spot.
