Birch Aquarium: 2nd-3rd Sandy Shores Discovery Lab

This event is recommended for 2nd-3rd grade Sage Oak PLA students and their families. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
How does water affect the sandy shore habitat? Students explore what sand is made of, how it is created, and the animals that live in the sand through the Sandy Shores Discovery Lab at Birch Aquarium. Includes live animal touch. This field trip includes a one-hour hands-on Discovery Lab for 2nd-3rd graders taught by aquarium staff and general admission to explore Birch Aquarium.
Accompanying adult tickets include general admission to Birch Aquarium. Adults may have the opportunity to observe the Discovery Lab (depending on space), but if not, must be available on site to drop off and pick up students.
Discovery Labs for other grade levels are being offered on the same day so that families can bring students of different ages. Please see all the Birch Aquarium Website Posts for more information. Please make sure an accompanying adult ticket is purchased through at least one of the available Birch Aquarium Discovery Lab field trips.
