In-Person: Outdoor School: Torrey Pines State Beach & Broken Hill Trail (San Diego/Escondido) (Quarter 1)

Embark on an adventure into the great outdoors with our exploration of survival techniques and hiking in areas around Southern California. Students will learn essential skills for safely navigating wilderness trails, setting up camp, and thriving in nature’s challenges. From basic first aid to identifying edible plants and building shelters, students will gain practical knowledge to confidently explore the wilderness. Through hands-on activities and outdoor simulations, we’ll foster teamwork, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Whether you’re a beginner hiker or a seasoned explorer, join us as we embark on unforgettable journeys! An enrollment fee of $5 (of IFs) will reserve student’s spot in class.

Parents must stay as an observer for the class for the entire duration. No drop offs permitted. Please note these classes will be 1.5 hours long.
