  • Students explore human related threats to marine mammals and brainstorm ways to be good environmental stewards

  • Questions and answers

Program Objectives, Participants will:

  • Explore the uniqueness of marine mammals as well as the habitat and life history of the California sea lion.

  • Engage in a discussion about anthropogenic factors on marine mammal populations and their environment.

  • Brainstorm ways to mitigate anthropogenic threats to marine mammals.

  • Be able to identify unique traits of pinnipeds

  • Understand human imposed threats to their existence and everyday solutions that can help.
