Summer is soon slipping into the sunset… Did you see what I did there? I wrote an alliteration! Alliteration is when you repeat a sound at the beginning of multiple words in the same sentence. I used the /s/ sound! You can also try this technique in a silly way to write your own tongue twister! Try it out on your family and friends!

Math isn’t just about numbers, it’s also logic and critical thinking! Landing on the moon, building the world’s tallest towers, and cracking codes are examples of how math is needed for everything in the world! Reaching your arms up in the air stretches your arms, but how do you stretch your brain? With math!

Here are some challenging, mind-bending puzzles for you to cross your eyes over!

After reading this article from ReadWorks, we were berry shocked! We don’t want to spoil the information for you, but let’s just say we were surprised to learn about what is considered a berry and why. Click below to find out for yourself!

Social Studies

It reaches 630 feet, twice the height of the Statue of Liberty! Pick a state that interests you and fill out one of these state fact sheets! What fun facts did you learn?

Social-Emotional Wellness
It is so important to approach situation with a sense of calm and intention. One way to give ourselves this time is to create a mindfulness jar. While we breathe through our thoughts and wait for our agitation to settle, we can also wait and watch the glitter settle. Click below to learn more!
