Dear Sage Oak families, 

On Monday, February 28th, 2022 the State of California updated its guidance in regards to masking for all K-12 schools. The indoor masking mandate for students and staff in all K-12 school settings will end after Friday, March 11th.

As a result, Sage Oak will update its guidance to reflect this change. Beginning Saturday, March 12th, students and staff are encouraged, but not required to wear a face-covering while indoors. We ask for continued community support as individuals who would like to continue wearing a mask in any setting may do so.

We will continue to provide the following COVID-19 response resources to students and staff: 

• Availability of N95 masks - Request form for students
• No-cost at home antigen testing for students and staff who have been identified as a close contact or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms - Request form for students

Before attending an in-person meeting, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, test positive for COVID-19, or have possible close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, you can reach our COVID-19 support team at covid19support@sageoak.education.

As always, we will continue to monitor guidance for schools from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and provide further information if any additional updates are announced.
