Sage Oak COVID-19 Response Plan Update - March 1, 2022

Dear Sage Oak families,

On Monday, February 28th, 2022 the State of California updated its guidance in regards to masking for all
K-12 schools. The indoor masking mandate for students and staff in all K-12 school settings will end after Friday, March 11th.

As a result, Sage Oak will update its guidance to reflect this change. Beginning Saturday, March 12th, students and staff are encouraged, but not required to wear a face-covering while indoors. We ask for continued community support as individuals who would like to continue wearing a mask in any setting may do so.

We will continue to provide the following COVID-19 response resources to students and staff:

Before attending an in-person meeting, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, test positive for COVID-19, or have possible close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, you can reach our COVID-19 support team at covid19support@sageoak.education.

As always, we will continue to monitor guidance for schools from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and provide further information if any additional updates are announced.

Sincerely,

Candice Coffey
Director of Human Resources
