Counseling Corner
Last chance to sign up for our newest counseling groups: social skills and executive functioning skills that will begin after Spring Break. For group content, dates/ times, and other important information, please click on the interest surveys. Both surveys will close on Wednesday, March 24th. School counseling is a general education service and does not require instructional fees. I am excited to learn and grow together!

PVSA – President’s Volunteer Service Awards
We are only six weeks away from the close of the 2020-21 PVSA window. Our current PVSA window is from May 1, 2020, until April 30, 2021. We are very proud of the ways our participants are serving their communities. In a year where many traditional service opportunities weren’t available.

Our students sought out ways to serve. This year our students have raised guide dogs, made crochet blankets, wrote notes of encouragement, delivered flowers, collected food, in addition to a variety of other services. So far, our participants have currently logged over 3,400 hours!!! Way to go!

Secondary Education
We want to help our 8th graders be prepared for the transition to high school! If you interested in an 8th-grade transition to high school appointment with an advisor from our Secondary education department please use this registration link and refer any questions to studentcounciladvisors@sageoak.education.

Sage Oak Branch Out Summer Program
We are excited to announce a free summer program that we will be offering to our students and the community! Sage Oak’s Branch Out summer program is an online program that consists of daily pre-recorded video lessons designed to prevent summer learning loss.

Students going into grades K through 7th grade will watch short video lessons, play online learning games, and complete workbook pages that review the concepts of the previous grade level and prepare them for the next grade level. The Summer Bridge workbook can be purchased using instructional funds from Carson Dellosa for the grade that the student will be entering next year.

The middle school math program consists of short video lessons reviewing pre-algebra and algebra concepts with accompanying practice worksheets. No curriculum is needed for the middle school program.

Links to the online program will be available on June 1st. Please be sure to let your teacher know if you are interested in participating so that they can order your workbook by the P.O. deadline on April 2nd.
