Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Sage Oak is closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 20th. Monday marks the 25th anniversary of the day of service that celebrates MLK’s life. Make this Monday “a day on, not a day off” by volunteering in your community! Don't forget to record your hours to count toward PVSA. If you have any questions, email sageserves@sageoak.education.

3rd-5th Grade Cultivate and Create Winner Spotlight
In our first annual Cultivate and Create event, fourth-grader Micah Murray won our 3rd-5th grade category for his visual arts piece, Malcolm at Sea. Inspired by his great grandfather’s mission to sail around the world in a sailboat he built himself, Micah drew this piece “to honor him and remind me to set large goals and follow my dreams.”

Math Webinars
As part of our academic achievement plan for math, we previously invited Brenda Barnett to host three math-based webinars for our parents of K-8 students.  We hope that the following webinar recordings will be useful in teaching and growing a love for math instruction!

Great upcoming opportunity to ask questions about assessments at Sage Oak! Please join us on Thursday, January 30th for Assessment 101 -- a webinar providing an overview of all things testing. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
