Lending Library Launch - 2.0

After multiple trial launches, plus hours of work by our Lending Library team and external program developers, Sage Oak is happy to announce that the Lending Library is now open for business for our PLA (Personalized Learning Academy) families!

Sage Oak’s online lending library currently houses nearly 7,000 materials/items for lending purposes. Parents may access our online lending library during various ordering windows throughout the school year, to peruse and borrow available items for minimal shipping/handling/ program fees. All applicable fees will be deducted from student Instructional Fund accounts- fees may not be paid out of pocket. Additionally, please allow up to two weeks for the items to ship as we launch this new offering. Please review all pertinent information via the following links.

National School Choice Week

National School Choice Week is January 23rd-29th and we want you to show your Sage Oak spirit! School Choice Week recognizes all K-12 options, including all public schools, public charter schools, private schools, online academies, and homeschooling.

School choice is important to us because it means each student can attend the school that best allows them to thrive, be challenged, and be successful. The Sage Oak Virtual Learning Academy has new student openings for Kindergarten, 5th, and 6th grades for the current 2021-22 school year. Webinar: Meeting College General Education Requirements/AA Degree Pathways

Learn how your child may be able to complete University of California and California State University general education requirements (IGETC) while still in high school.

We will also look at pathways for earning an associate's degree while in high school.

Strive for 45! 

Did you know that using i-Ready for 45 minutes or more per week in each subject is great practice and can help with test prep and filling in any learning gaps?  Check out the padlet below featuring the students who participated in the Strive for 45 challenge in November and December.  The challenge will be running through Thursday, March 31st and all K-8 students are eligible to participate!  Ask your teacher for more details.

Clippers Charter School Night
This is not a school-sponsored event

Join the Clippers in Toyota Arena for Star Wars and Charter School Night on Tuesday, January 18th at 7 :00 pm.  There will be a pregame Chalk Talk from 3-4pm that includes a panel of internal employees from different departments throughout the Clippers Organization sharing what they do and their experience working in sports.

General doors open at 6:00 pm for those who are not partaking in the Chalk Talk and only wish to attend the game, which begins at 7:00 pm.
